Job Overview
We are seeking a professional PSV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating passenger service vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Duties
- Safely operate passenger service vehicles (PSV) in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Deliver passengers or goods to designated locations punctually and efficiently, adhering to scheduled routes.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.
- Comply with all legal requirements for commercial driving licences and road safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or PSV driver with relevant licences.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles confidently and safely.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures is preferred.
- Organised with the ability to plan routes effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Experience in customer service or client interaction is advantageous.
