Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled General Builder to join our construction team! Duties
- Perform various construction tasks including carpentry, roofing, masonry, and painting to meet project specifications and deadlines
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, assemble, and install building components
- Conduct plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance as required for different projects
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks to create or modify structural elements with precision
- Assist with electrical work by installing wiring, fixtures, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Prepare surfaces through construction painting techniques to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks, maintain safety protocols, and uphold quality standards throughout each phase of construction
Experience
- Proven experience in general construction or building trades with a strong foundation in carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring, welding processes, and fabrication techniques preferred
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations within the construction industry
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
