Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders for food and beverages, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve drinks from the bar efficiently, maintaining proper presentation and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for billing and order handling
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling procedures
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and interact confidently with guests
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
