Phillips Tyres Shepton Mallet Ltd are currently seeking a full time mechanic to join our family business in Shepton Mallet. We have over 50 years+ experience and specialise in tyres, as well as servicing & repairs. We have an MOT station and perform class 4 & 7.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Undertake all levels of car repairs as well as servicing and fault analysis.
- be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion as well as road testing vehicles.
- be fully qualified to level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent time served experience.
- have a proven track record of quality workmanship and possess good diagnostic skills.
The chosen candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Possess a genuine interest and passion for vehicle mechanics and safety.
- Have experience in a professional workshop environment
- Have own tools
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30.

In return we are offering a salary of up to £38,000 based on experience and qualifications.
