We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Podiatrist to join the East Area Podiatry and Orthotics Service within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. This unique role offers a varied caseload across specialist foot ulcer services and musculoskeletal podiatry.
You will be part of our established multidisciplinary diabetic foot team, managing patients with complex ulceration, infection, Charcot neuroarthropathy and other high-risk foot conditions. You will also assess and treat musculoskeletal and biomechanical conditions, supporting the development of our MSK service.
Working closely with vascular, orthopaedic, diabetes and orthotic colleagues, you will contribute to specialist clinics, provide expert clinical input, support service development and help develop staff and students.
We are looking for a clinician with excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills, experience of managing complex cases and a commitment to delivering patient-centred care. Support and development opportunities will be available for candidates with the potential to excel at Band 7 level.

To be part of a highly motivated team, having at least five years NHS post registration experience, working independently in both community and acute settings, delivering highly specialist seamless podiatric care to individuals and groups; supporting management of complex cases and promoting empowerment of individuals to self manage their conditions.
To provide inpatient podiatry provision to patients with foot problems; to clinically support the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice, acting as a source of expertise. You will be expected to demonstrate specialist knowledge and a high level of personal skill and be responsible for the training, supervision and performance assessment of staff. You will need a sound theoretical knowledge base and be able to demonstrate evidence-based practice.
