BCP Media Group is a leading print, signage, pos, merch and mailing company based in Poole, Dorset. Following significant growth and major investment into our large format, signage and POS production facilities, we are looking for an experienced CS/ Estimator to join our team. We provide everything from large format and digital print through to graphics, POS, signage, exhibition displays and installation services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working within the print, signage, POS or large format industry who understands production processes and enjoys delivering accurate, competitive quotations for a wide variety of projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and managing quotations across our print, signage and display departments, working closely with our sales, client services and production teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing accurate and timely estimates for print, signage, POS and large format projects
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing
- Calculating production costs, materials, labour and outsourced services
- Working alongside account managers and business development teams
- Maintaining pricing databases and estimating systems
- Advising on the most efficient and cost-effective production methods
- Supporting continuous improvement of estimating processes
- Assisting with job costing and margin analysis
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous estimating experience within print, signage, large format, POS or visual communications
- Good understanding of print production processes
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple quotations and deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
Highly Desirable:
- Experience using Accura MIS
- Knowledge of large format print production, signage and POS
- Experience estimating signage, display, exhibition or retail POS projects
