Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Painter to join our team. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix paints and primers accurately to match colour specifications.
- Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring an even and smooth finish.
- Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively during preparation and painting processes.
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicles or parts as required, following safety protocols.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in vehicle painting or automotive refinishing is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding vehicle surfaces and repair processes.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes is essential.
- Experience operating power tools used in painting and surface preparation is desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is necessary.
