Warehouse & Forklift Operative
Erka Foods Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse & Forklift Operative to join our team in Harlow.
This is a hands-on warehouse role, helping with the day-to-day running of our warehouse. We are looking for someone who is organised, works well independently and takes pride in keeping the warehouse in good order.
Main duties
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift
- Moving and organising pallets and stock around the warehouse
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Building and wrapping pallets ready for delivery
- Checking incoming goods and putting stock away
- Preparing outgoing orders for collection and delivery
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Helping with general warehouse duties when required
- Working with our transport partners when goods are collected or delivered
Requirements
- Valid forklift licence and experience required
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Able to carry out manual work and lift/move goods safely
- Reliable, organised and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Good attention to detail when preparing orders
The role
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per year, depending on experience
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Job type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Harlow, Essex (CM19)
Holiday: 28 days per year including bank holidays
