This is a fast-paced job so please bear this in mind when applying.
Abakon Ltd is a family run company.
You will be working onboard various passenger ferries while they are docked at Plymouth International Ferry Port to help clean and complete them ready for the crossing back to France /Spain.
We are a seasonal Company , which runs from end of March to the end of October.
Duties can include making beds, clearing rubbish, polishing, cleaning the bathrooms ,toilets and hoovering in the passenger cabins and public areas. While onboard you will be working within a team and will all be working together to get the ferries cleaned.
You will have to give names and email addresses for two people who will agree to provide a reference for you. You will write their details on the application form.
One will be a professional referee so you can use the following:
Employer/ex-employer/school/college/university/landlord/doctor/religious leader.
The other referee can be personal or professional. The referees can't be family or Abakon employees. I will send them off as soon as I receive the application pack completed and returned.
It is compulsory that all applicants must be able to work the TWO main shifts , which are the same time each week.
Tuesday afternoon at 3pm.
Friday morning at 11.15am
2-3 hrs per shift.
Other shifts available.

Uniforms provided.
