Schlüter-Systems Ltd is the UK subsidiary of a German-founded international manufacturer of market-leading products for the construction industry.
We are looking for a Finance Administrator who will provide hands-on administrative and operational support that helps the finance function and wider business perform at its best.
What you will do:
The Finance Administrator ensures records, documentation, and internal processes are kept accurate and up to date, creating a smooth, organised, and compliant working environment for everyone.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the finance function, including purchase order processing, supplier payments, and invoice management.
- Managing purchase orders from creation through to approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process.
- Reviewing company credit card transactions
- Resolving supplier queries or invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assisting with month-end, year-end, and audit activities to support accurate financial reporting.
- Acting as a central point of support for managers and colleagues, helping coordinate day-to-day administrative activities.
- Managing business correspondence, including emails, telephone enquiries, and incoming and outgoing post.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, filing systems, and business documentation.
- Preparing and formatting reports, presentations, letters, and other documents to a professional standard.
- Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, including preparing agendas and taking minutes when required.
- Creating a welcoming and professional experience for visitors and guests.
- Supporting the HR team with onboarding activities and new starter preparation.
- Managing office supplies and liaising with suppliers to ensure the workplace remains well-equipped and efficient.
- Providing administrative support for the company's vehicle fleet and other operational activities.
- Handling confidential information with discretion and maintaining high levels of accuracy at all times.
- Supporting business projects and identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and ways of working.

- Specific Job Skills
- Previous experience in an accounts, finance or administration role
- Good understanding of purchase ledger accounts processes (use of Sage200 preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications

Pay: £14,000.00 per year
