Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable throughout their visit
- Take and serve orders accurately, providing menu recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage table settings, cleanliness, and readiness to maintain high standards of presentation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting efficient service flow
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and ensure smooth service during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, with a strong focus on guest services and serving skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for order processing and cash handling
- Prior experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus but not required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- A positive attitude, energetic approach, and eagerness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
