Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Carer to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in their own homes. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Support clients with medication management according to care plans and health guidelines.
- Help with household chores including meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and shopping errands.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to relevant professionals.
- Use effective communication skills to liaise with clients, family members, and healthcare teams.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities using company vehicles when required.
Experience
- Previous experience working in home care or a similar caring environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for building rapport and understanding client needs.
- Basic IT skills for documenting care activities electronically and maintaining records efficiently.
- Valid driving license and experience driving safely are highly desirable for supporting clients’ mobility needs.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately is important for delivering consistent care.
- A caring attitude combined with excellent interpersonal skills to connect with diverse individuals in a respectful manner.
