Doorman – Concierge @ Broadwick Soho
You are the first chapter of every guest’s story at Broadwick Soho – and the last impression they carry with them when they leave. We are looking for an exceptional Doorman to join our Concierge team at one of London’s most exciting luxury hotels, where the standard of welcome is as carefully crafted as everything else we do. This is a role for someone who takes genuine pride in their presence, their professionalism, and their ability to make every single person who walks through our doors feel immediately and warmly at home.
On Target Earnings
The on target earning potential for this role is £42,000 per annum based on a 40 hour contract – comprising a base salary of £32,305 per annum plus a qualified estimate of £9,695 in service charge. Please note this is a projected tronc and OTE.
What is in it for you?
- Inclusion in the Tronc scheme, covering both Rooms and F&B service charge.
- 30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
- Bravo Broadwick – our bespoke reward and recognition scheme celebrating birthdays, work anniversaries, and inspirational service.
- Pension scheme, season ticket travel loan, cycle-to-work scheme, and Medicash health plan.
- Great food and drink during your shift.
- Designer outfits that represent our spirit and personality – fresh and ready for every shift.
- Support from our Employee Assistance Programme, wellbeing initiatives, and a company discretionary sick pay scheme after 6 months of service.
- Refer a friend bonus (£1,000 for chefs / £500 for all other roles), friends and family discounts, and a complimentary Guest Experience on successful completion of your probationary period.
Why You?
As a Doorman at Broadwick Soho, you are far more than a point of arrival – you are the embodiment of our welcome. Working as part of our Concierge team, you will be a familiar, trusted, and reassuring presence for every guest who arrives at our door. With natural warmth, impeccable presentation, and an instinctive read of every guest who approaches, you will set the tone for what is to come – whether assisting with luggage, managing arrivals and departures with calm efficiency, or simply offering the kind of genuine, unhurried attention that makes a guest feel truly seen.
You will work hand in hand with our Concierge team to ensure that the arrival and departure experience is seamless, personal, and reflective of everything Broadwick Soho stands for. You will know the hotel inside out, anticipate needs before they are expressed, and be the kind of consistent, warm presence that guests remember and return for. In a hotel that prides itself on personality and precision in equal measure, your role is one of the most important we have.
We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to support different areas of the operation from time to time. You will work alongside brilliant colleagues across the hotel, as one seamless team with a shared commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint.
What do we need from you?
- Proven experience in a Doorman or front-of-house guest-facing role within a luxury hotel environment.
- A full, valid UK driving licence – essential.
- Availability to work 40 hours over 5 days per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills – warm, polished, and naturally at ease with a wide range of guests.
- Immaculate personal presentation and a genuine pride in representing the hotel at the highest standard.
- A can-do attitude with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong situational awareness and the confidence to manage the entrance and forecourt efficiently during busy periods.
- A deep passion for delivering exceptional service and hospitality from the very first moment of contact.
