Clinical Lead - Nursing Home
Location: Nottingham Area
Salary: £24.00 per hour
Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday
Amber Mace is working on behalf of a well-established care provider in the Nottingham area to recruit an experienced Clinical Lead to join their dedicated team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and compassionate nursing professional who has experience leading clinical teams within a care home environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional standards of person-centred care.
The Role
As Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day clinical operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and clinical governance are consistently achieved.
Your working pattern will include:
- 2 x 12-hour clinical shifts on the floor (8:00am - 8:00pm)
- 2 x 8-hour supernumerary shifts (9:00am - 5:00pm)
- Monday to Friday working pattern
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care teams.
- Ensure residents receive safe, effective, and person-centred care.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical practice and documentation.
- Conduct clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Support staff through mentoring, supervision, and training.
- Work closely with the Home Manager to maintain compliance with CQC standards.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive and professional culture throughout the home.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous experience working as a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, or in a similar senior clinical role within a nursing home.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and supporting teams to succeed.
