Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
NOW Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and adaptable Maths Teacher to join a specialist provision in the Northampton area on a full-time, term-time only basis. This is a permanent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and rewarding educational setting.
The school supports children aged 6–16 who experience anxiety-related barriers to education. Their focus is on creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where pupils can rebuild confidence, develop emotionally and flourish both academically and personally in preparation for further education.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a strong subject knowledge of Mathematics
- Be passionate about delivering engaging and accessible Maths lessons
- Have an open-minded and flexible approach to teaching
- Be able to adapt teaching styles to meet individual pupil needs
- Build positive relationships and encourage student engagement
- Be in control of your own planning and lesson delivery
- Be committed to supporting young people with social and emotional needs
- Have the ability to make Maths accessible and enjoyable for pupils with a range of abilities and barriers to learning
