Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced External Pressure Washer Operative to carry out commercial building fabric and external cleaning works across operational commercial sites.
The role will involve the cleaning of external building surfaces and associated areas using professional pressure washing and jet washing equipment. The successful applicant must be comfortable working in busy commercial environments and following site-specific health and safety procedures.
Main Duties
- Pressure washing and jet washing of external building fabric.
- Cleaning external walls, cladding, brickwork and rendered surfaces where required.
- Cleaning concrete areas, pathways, service yards, loading bays and hardstanding.
- Cleaning external staircases, gantries, plant areas and other building-related areas.
- Removal of dirt, algae, moss, staining and general environmental build-up.
- Setting up and operating commercial pressure washing equipment safely.
- Protecting adjacent equipment, doors, electrical installations and sensitive areas from water ingress or overspray.
- Setting up barriers and signage to maintain a safe working area.
- Working from ground level and, where suitably trained and authorised, from access equipment.
- Completing works in accordance with site RAMS, permits and client procedures.
- Leaving all work areas clean, tidy and safe upon completion.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- DBS checks will be compulsory
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience with commercial pressure washing, jet washing or external building cleaning
- Be confident using professional pressure washing equipment.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety when working around commercial premises.
- Be physically capable of carrying out manual external cleaning work.
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Be able to follow method statements, risk assessments and site instructions.
- Understand the importance of protecting electrical equipment and other sensitive building services when using water.
- Be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Maintain a professional attitude when working on client premises.

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day
