Bluebird Care Harrow is looking for an experienced and motivated Training Manager to lead the learning and development of our care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing people, delivering engaging training and ensuring our staff have the skills and confidence to provide outstanding care.
Working closely with the leadership team, you'll be responsible for planning, delivering and monitoring training across the business, from new starter inductions through to ongoing development and competency assessments.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering engaging induction training for new care staff.
- Planning and delivering mandatory and specialist training.
- Supporting staff with their learning and development.
- Monitoring training compliance and competency.
- Developing training plans to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Working with managers to identify training needs and improve performance.
- Keeping accurate training records and reporting on compliance.
What we're looking for
- Experience working within Health & Social Care.
- Experience delivering training and supporting staff development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A good understanding of CQC standards and domiciliary care.
- Ability to motivate and develop others.
- Strong IT skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Ideally, you'll already hold a teaching or training qualification, such as:
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
- Train the Trainer qualification
- PTLLS (or equivalent)
- Other recognised teaching or training qualification
If you don't currently hold one of these qualifications but have the right experience and passion for training, we're happy to support the right candidate to achieve the required qualification.
