A rare opportunity to join the award-winning team at Monachyle Mhor Hotel, situated in a beautiful, rural lochside location in the Scottish countryside.
This role would suit an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor who enjoys the outdoors and is looking for more than just a job—it is an opportunity to embrace rural living and become part of the Mhor way of life.
This is a hands-on role, working alongside the housekeeping team every day. You will help supervise, support and train the team, ensuring our hotel bedrooms, self-catering properties, event spaces are maintained to a luxury standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Working hands-on with the housekeeping team
- Supervising, supporting and motivating team members
- Training new and existing staff
- Completing room, hygiene and quality checks
- Assisting with rotas, weekly ordering and cost control
- Managing linen, laundry, supplies and stocktakes
- Completing housekeeping reports and safety checks
- Recording and securely storing lost property
- Preparing staff accommodation for new employees
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory housekeeping experience within a luxury hotel is essential
- A positive, energetic and hands-on approach
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in high standards
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Confidence using computers for ordering and basic administration
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as part of the rota
- A UK driving licence and access to transport would be beneficial
