You will be responsible for the surveying of Gas Boilers (for changes and full Central Heating installations), including Unvented Hot Water systems and wet central heating systems in various domestic properties.
We’re searching for passionate engineers, committed to quality and excellence, with duties to include:
- Assessing and surveying within void properties – may include a technical assessment of appliances on initial visit
- Coordinate work schedule between our admin team and engineers.
- Liaising with the client to ensure void works are completed within SLAs - offering excellent customer service on every job.
- Work alongside the area manager to maintain performance and ensure correct labour resource.
- Adaptation to a wide variety of different working environments
- Providing technical support, coaching, and advice to customers about improving their energy efficiency measures
- Confidence and good written and verbal communication skills

The Person:
We are looking for someone with an understanding of the health, safety, environmental & associated legal requirements that are relevant to the work and ensure the teams comply with these. Help the teams understand and actively promote issues regarding health, safety & the environment.
- Hold a valid in date driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Hold a valid ACS qualification including CKR1 and HTR1
- Have experience with Heating System Design and Install
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective customer relationships
- Positive approach to change and willing to learn new skills and develop the role as required.
- Ability to work to challenging targets and timescales.
- Confidence and creditability with the ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and knowledge assertively, whilst demonstrating empathy with customers and colleagues.
- Able to adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
- High level of computer literacy to operate technical packages.
