Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Childcare Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children within a nursery setting, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in accordance with early years frameworks.
- Supervise and support children during play, learning, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily routines.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Organise the nursery environment to promote independence, exploration, and learning.
- Support the transition of children into the nursery setting and assist with their ongoing development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and nursery policies at all times.
- Contribute to the planning of activities that promote inclusive practice recognising individual needs.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise confidently with parents and team members.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach towards young children.
- Organised with the ability to plan activities that stimulate learning whilst ensuring safety standards are maintained.
