About the Role
NN Cleaning Services is looking for a confident, creative and highly engaging Social Media Content Creator & Brand Presenter to become one of the recognisable faces of our company.
This is not a traditional office-based social media position.
The successful candidate will spend a significant part of the working week out on the road, visiting our cleaning teams, following their day-to-day work, identifying interesting stories and transforming the real activity of the company into engaging social media content.
We want to show the public what actually happens behind the scenes of a growing cleaning business: our people, our customers, our cleaning rounds, our vehicles, our equipment, the areas we operate in, the challenges our teams face and the results they achieve.
The role combines elements of:
- Social Media Content Creation
- On-Camera Presenting
- Field Reporting
- Brand Representation
- Video Production
- Storytelling
- Employee Engagement
- Community Building
We are looking for someone who can eventually look at an ordinary working day and immediately think:
“There is a story here — how can I turn this into content people will want to watch?”
Main Areas of Coverage
The role will be primarily based around Northamptonshire, which will be one of our main areas of focus.
The initial priority will be:
- Northamptonshire
- Cambridge
- Milton Keynes
However, NN Cleaning Services operates and develops cleaning rounds across different parts of the UK, and the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling to other operational locations when required.
These may include:
- Peterborough
- Nottingham
- South London
- Cambridge
- Milton Keynes
- Northamptonshire
- Other areas where the company currently operates or develops new cleaning rounds
The Content Creator may be asked to visit different locations to introduce teams, follow particular cleaning rounds, cover special projects, document new areas and create a wider picture of the company's activity across the UK.
All authorised business travel expenses will be covered by the company, including the use of a company vehicle, fuel and other reasonable work-related travel expenses.
Occasionally, travelling to more distant locations may require longer working days. Any such requirements will be planned according to operational needs.
What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and producing regular content for platforms including:
- TikTok
- Instagram
- Facebook
- YouTube Shorts
- Other relevant social media platforms as the company develops its digital presence
Typical content may include:
- Following our window cleaners and cleaning teams during their working day
- Presenting directly to camera
- Creating “day in the life” videos
- Producing behind-the-scenes content
- Interviewing members of our teams
- Introducing individual cleaners and their personalities
- Showing before-and-after cleaning results
- Explaining different cleaning services
- Demonstrating equipment, vehicles and cleaning systems
- Visiting different cleaning rounds and operational areas
- Creating short reports from the road
- Capturing unusual, entertaining or interesting moments
- Creating customer testimonials where prior permission has been obtained
- Speaking with customers on camera where appropriate and authorised
- Producing live content where appropriate
- Creating short-form vertical videos
- Filming using smartphones and/or company equipment
- Editing content using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere or similar software
- Writing captions and calls to action
- Helping publish and schedule content
- Following relevant social media trends
- Adapting trends in a way that remains suitable for a professional company
- Identifying opportunities for content without waiting for instructions from management
Team Challenges & Employee Content
An important part of this role will be making our teams part of the company's social media story.
The Content Creator will be encouraged to develop friendly challenges, competitions and interactive content involving our window cleaners and other employees.
Examples may include:
- Cleaner challenges
- Team-versus-team competitions
- Before-and-after challenges
- Cleaning knowledge challenges
- Equipment challenges
- Speed or efficiency challenges where operationally appropriate
- Question-and-answer videos
- Employee interviews
- “Who knows the company best?” content
- Cleaner of the week features
- Behind-the-scenes competitions
- Recurring weekly challenges
- Fun team content that helps audiences recognise individual members of staff
The objective is to create recurring personalities, stories and content formats that encourage people to follow the company over time rather than simply watching isolated cleaning videos.
Any challenge must remain safe, professional and must never compromise service quality or customer property.
Creative Independence
This position requires a high level of autonomy and creative initiative.
We are not looking for someone who needs to be told every morning exactly what to film.
The successful candidate should be capable of:
- Planning their own content
- Developing new ideas independently
- Identifying interesting stories during the working day
- Creating new recurring video formats
- Experimenting with different styles of content
- Recognising opportunities as they happen
- Organising filming around different teams and locations
- Building a consistent content pipeline
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day creative process
- Understanding what is performing well and adapting future content accordingly
The person appointed should be comfortable being trusted with the day-to-day creation of content while remaining aligned with the company's objectives and brand standards.
Weekly Meeting With the Company Owner
Although the successful candidate will have significant creative independence, the position will operate in direct weekly coordination with the company owner.
A weekly content and performance meeting will normally be used to review:
- Content produced during the previous week
- Video views
- Reach
- Engagement
- Watch time and audience retention
- Shares and saves
- Follower growth
- Customer enquiries generated through social media
- The strongest and weakest-performing content

The intention is to provide the Content Creator with genuine creative freedom while maintaining clear commercial direction.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- Extremely confident speaking directly to camera
- Naturally engaging and charismatic
- Outgoing and comfortable meeting new people
- Professional and well presented
- An excellent communicator
- Creative and capable of generating original ideas

- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
- Comfortable filming vertical smartphone content
- Able to perform basic or intermediate video editing
- Able to represent the company professionally at all times
- Capable of balancing entertaining content with the standards expected from a professional service business
Previous experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Social media
- Content creation
- UGC
- Presenting
- Journalism
- Videography
- Marketing
- Broadcasting
- Acting
- Brand ambassador work
- Digital media
However, we recognise that the right personality, creativity and natural ability in front of a camera can be just as important as formal qualifications.
Driving Licence
A full UK driving licence is required.
This is a field-based position involving regular travel between different operational locations.
A company vehicle will be provided for authorised business travel.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with company policies.
Working Hours
The role is expected initially to involve approximately:
5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
This would normally represent approximately:
25 hours per week
However, this position is offered on a Zero Hours Contract, and therefore working hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on business requirements.
There is potential for additional hours when:
- Longer filming days are required
- Content opportunities arise in other locations
- Special projects need to be covered
- Campaigns require additional production
- The role demonstrates strong measurable results
The number of hours may therefore increase significantly if the position proves commercially valuable to the business.
Pay
£16.00–£18.00 per hour, depending on experience, portfolio and demonstrated ability.
Candidates who can demonstrate strong previous results in social media, video creation, presenting or audience growth may be considered towards the higher end of the range.
The company may review both remuneration and working hours as the role develops and measurable results are achieved.
What the Company Provides
The successful candidate will receive:
- Company vehicle for authorised business travel
- Fuel for authorised business journeys
- Company mobile phone
- Reasonable authorised travel expenses
- Access to our operational teams
- Access to different cleaning rounds and working locations
- Initial introduction and training regarding our services and operations
- Significant creative freedom
- Opportunity to develop a large portfolio of real-world content
- Direct access to the company owner for weekly planning
- Opportunity for the position to grow alongside the company's digital presence
What Success Looks Like
We are not simply looking for someone to post regularly on social media.
We want someone capable of developing a recognisable online identity for the company.
Performance will be reviewed using a combination of content output, audience development and commercial results, including:
- Quality of content
- Consistency
- Quantity of usable videos produced
- Views
- Reach
- Audience retention
- Watch time
- Engagement
- Comments
- Shares
- Saves
- Follower growth
- Customer enquiries
- Leads generated through social media
- Development of recurring successful content formats
- Employee participation
- Creativity
- Ability to work autonomously
- Overall contribution to increasing awareness of the NN Cleaning Services brand
We understand that meaningful organic social media growth takes time, so the focus will be on building a consistent, measurable and sustainable presence rather than chasing meaningless vanity metrics.
Customer Privacy & Professional Standards
Our customers' privacy must always be respected.
Customers should only appear in identifiable photographs, videos, interviews or testimonials where appropriate permission has been obtained.
The successful candidate will be expected to follow company procedures regarding customer consent, confidentiality, employee privacy and brand standards.
Content must never interfere with the quality of the cleaning service being provided.
How to Apply
Please submit:
- Your CV
- Links to any relevant TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, UGC, presenting or other content you have previously created, where available
- A short video of approximately 60 seconds introducing yourself directly to camera
The introduction video does not need to be professionally edited.
We simply want to see:
- Your natural communication style
- Your personality
- Your confidence in front of a camera
- Why you believe you would be suitable for the role
- How you would approach creating interesting content from the everyday activity of our company
For this particular position, your personality, communication ability and creativity are extremely important.
We are looking for someone capable of becoming a recognisable, authentic and trusted face of NN Cleaning Services, while also having the independence and creativity to build compelling content around the real day-to-day life of the business.
Immediate availability is preferred.
