Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations
- Assist with patient examinations by recording medical histories and current dental concerns
- Maintain detailed patient records, including treatment notes and imaging results, in compliance with privacy regulations
- Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized care plans based on patient needs and imaging results
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software systems - SOE currently used in practice
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dental diagnostics
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, especially oral cavity structures, to accurately assess patient conditions
- Excellent communication skills to educate and reassure patients effectively
- Ability to operate dental equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to infection control protocols
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing patient files and imaging data
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative healthcare team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £35.00-£49.82 per hour
