Job Summary
We are seeking a Semi Skilled Assembler. This role involves assembling components and products with precision, utilizing a variety of hand tools and power tools, while adhering to safety standards and quality guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with surface mount technology. This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail and technical skills contribute directly to the production of high-quality goods.
Hours & Pay
Monday to Thursday - 7am till 4pm
Friday - 7am till 11am
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to detailed specifications and diagrams
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assembly tasks accurately
- Operate surface mount technology equipment for precise electronic component placement
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure correct assembly procedures
- Completing labour tasks in the mixer assembly area
- Any other duties as requested by your line management
- Document assembly processes and report any issues or deviations promptly
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical assembly
- Electrical and hydraulics experience.
- Good personal responsibility and awareness of safe working practices.
- Good knowledge of basic hand and power tools related to trade to ensure correct equipment is used for each individual task.
- Must be a reliable timekeeper.
- Physically fit.
