As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our medical devices and software. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement test strategies aligned with regulatory standards for medical devices
- Execute test cases, scripts, and data for various types of testing, including functional, performance, usability, security, and reliability
- Work closely with Product Owner and Developers to define acceptance criteria and definition of done for both stories and releases
- Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Design and implement automated tests and frameworks for regression testing and continuous integration
- Prepare and maintain test reports, metrics, and documentation for presentation to management and other stakeholders
- Keep up to date with medical device testing standards, tools, frameworks, and best practices
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- BS/MS in Computer, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the medical device industry (or other safety-critical industries)
- Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and 21 CFR 820
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, TestArchitect, etc.
- Certification in software testing
- Willingness to be on-site (minimum 3 days/week in London office)
Experience working with deployed hardware systems and remote device management, along with a strong background in virtualization, is a plus. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferable.
