Duties:
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards as an Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults, providing efficient service and maintenance
- Carry out vehicle servicing to maximise safety, performance, and reliability
- Report accurately on vehicle condition, safety, and operational issues to the Business Owner
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards
- Offer excellent customer service through occasional front reception assistance and communication
- Support the workshop team to maintain a high standard of work and workshop organisation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a competent Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, gained through employment or apprenticeship
- MOT licence is essential; a valid UK driving licence with minimal points is required
- A friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Ability to produce high-quality work within specified deadlines
- Living within reasonable commuting distance of Glastonbury
