About the Role
As Chef, reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents. You'll be a key player in our catering team, working closely with colleagues across the home to create a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and delivery of nutritious, well-presented meals.
- Ensure all food preparation and hygiene records are accurately maintained.
- Cater to individual dietary needs with care and attention.
- Work with residents to understand their preferences and satisfaction with the meals.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain quality and consistency.
- Uphold high standards in food safety, cleanliness, and health & safety.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene (Desirable)
- Previous experience in a care home setting is a plus
- Solid knowledge of food safety and health regulations
