We are looking for a reliable care assistant available to support our male client based in Barkingside, IG5 up to 7 days a week. Experience with Dementia and Diabetes is required, no personal care or moving and handling is required for this particular package.
Unfortunately, no sponsorship is available, but we are happy to consider applicants under Skilled Worker Visa on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.

What you’ll be doing
- Experience with people living with Dementia and Diabetes
- Accompanying the client on daily walks
- Prompting medication
- Light cleaning and cooking (preferable, not essential)
- Offering friendly companionship and emotional support
- Engage the client in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation

What we’re looking for
- The client would prefer the company of a male carer
- Previous experience in caregiving for people with Dementia and Diabetes
- Up-to-date mandatory Training and DBS (or willing to obtain it)
- Good communication and people skills, empathetic and kind
- Willingness to learn and support others
