Pay: £18.50-£25.00 depending on experience
Job Description:
Join us and become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking physiotherapy team in the heart of Guildford. We pride ourselves on putting the patient and staff first with an opportunity to develop your physiotherapy career.
The Clavadel is a unique 32 bedded purpose-built unit which delivers highly specialised care and treatment to post-operative patients, specialising in orthopaedic surgery. The successful candidate must have sound clinical orthopaedic knowledge and a keen interest in post-operative rehabilitation. Patients come to us from all over the country once discharged directly from hospital to continue their recov-ery in a safe and comforting environment. Patients are here short term for a period of intensive rehabilitation which includes physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. The unit offers a 7-day physiotherapy service, 24-hour nursing care and access to general practitioner support to ensure patients are able to achieve optimal independence to return home safely and confidently.
The patient experience is at the heart of our organisation, and we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic physiotherapist that will go the extra mile and provide seamless care for our patients. We believe that investing in staff leads to high quality clinical care. We have an experienced physiotherapy team, and we work closely with the nursing team to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to managing patients seamlessly whilst in our care.
As a physiotherapist in our organisation, we are committed to your professional devel-opment and will arrange a supernumerary induction to ensure you are supported during the transition to your new role. We run a comprehensive CPD programme and are proud of our experienced team who will also provide hands on developmental experience. Ex-ternal courses relevant to the environment will be supported. The post involves treating patients both on land and in the hydrotherapy pool. We have a state-of-the-art hydro-therapy pool which is integral to our business model. Experience in hydrotherapy would be desirable but not essential. Full training in hydrotherapy will be provided. This post would suit someone looking for a band 6 role but there are always develop-mental opportunities to advance your career.
This is a full-time role, and the successful candidate will be expected to participate in our seven-day service.
