Quality Inspector
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: £34,000+ per annum (DOE)

About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with a background in electronics or PCB manufacturing who has a keen eye for detail and is committed to maintaining the highest quality standards.
You'll be responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies and components, ensuring products meet customer specifications and industry standards before progressing through production or being dispatched.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection of PCB assemblies and electronic products.
Inspect components, assemblies and finished products against engineering drawings and specifications.
Identify and record non-conforming products.
Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.
Support investigations into quality issues and assist with corrective actions.
Ensure products comply with IPC standards and company quality procedures.
Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality concerns.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe inspection area.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within an electronics or PCB manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of PCB assembly and electronic manufacturing processes.
Experience carrying out visual inspection of electronic assemblies.
Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Desirable
IPC-A-610 Certified Inspector (preferred but not essential).
Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards.
Experience within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
