Job Summary
Hub 26 is a lifestyle centre housing serviced offices, a gym, spa, meeting rooms, restaurants and outdoor wellness and dining areas. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facilities. In this role, you will work alongside department heads and be responsible for managing building systems, coordinating maintenance projects, and ensuring a safe and functional environment for all staff and visitors. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure that all repair works are carried out in a timely manner. A successful candidate should be available to work flexibly and live locally.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repairs and ensure all maintenance, repairs, and safety protocols are effectively executed.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to maximize operational uptime.
- Oversee project management activities related to facility upgrades, renovations, or new installations, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Maintain detailed schematics, technical manuals, and documentation for building systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies; implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to coordinate service contracts, repairs, and equipment procurement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards; lead emergency response planning and drills.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising maintenance.
- Experience in decorating and plumbing preffered.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to carry out & oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and building automation systems is highly desirable.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial or building automation settings.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills in English; capable of motivating teams and liaising effectively across departments.
- Supervising experience in facilities or maintenance environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations relevant to facility operations.
