Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support retail staff, providing guidance and training on product knowledge and customer service best practices.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
- Customer Engagement:
- Assist customers with product selection, offering expert advice on health foods, vitamins, and supplements.
- Engage with customers professionally to enhance their shopping experience and build lasting relationships.
- Merchandising & Store Presentation:
- Maintain attractive and well-organized merchandise displays in accordance with visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure the store is tidy and welcoming by restocking shelves and managing product placement effectively.
- Sales Transactions & Stock Management:
- Oversee the accurate processing of transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Support inventory management, including receiving deliveries and organising stockroom areas.
- Promotional Activities:
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute promotional activities and seasonal displays, driving sales and customer engagement.
Required Skills
- Experience: Previous supervisory experience in the health food trade or a related retail environment is essential.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, capable of conveying information clearly to both customers and team members.
- Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage stock and merchandising efficiently while maintaining store presentation standards.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with health supplements and a genuine interest in health and wellness products.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and motivate team members while providing outstanding customer service.
