At Build by Sets, we build and manage beautiful, high-end private homes across Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire—blending traditional character with contemporary craft. Our projects demand thoughtful planning, tight financial control, and smart procurement from day one.
We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Administrator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in project management and construction administration, working closely with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors across a range of projects.
We are also in the early stages of implementing Procore, a leading digital construction management platform, and full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors
- Assisting with all project documentation and paperwork
- Maintaining project files, records, and tracking systems
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and meeting notes
- Managing correspondence, emails, and document control
- Assisting with scheduling and coordination of project activities
- Supporting procurement and subcontractor administration
- Using and helping maintain digital systems including Procore
- Providing general support across the business as required
- Assisting at construction sites when needed
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
Desirable
- Previous administration experience
- Experience within construction or project environments
- Understanding of project management processes
