Job Summary
Premium Motorhomes are looking for a qualified Accountant who is immediately available ( or on a month's notice) for a Motorhome Retail organisation in Doncaster South Yorkshire.
You'll be someone who loves to work in an SME environment, who enjoys getting stuck into a varied and diverse role to support the leadership team by providing financial insights and leading on budget creation and forecasting. You will lead the finance function, get involved with decision making to shape the future of the business, working on multiple projects across the organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function.
- Work with the senior management team to develop the business plan , managing and monitoring effectiveness and performance to achieve its objectives.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Provide budgeting support , training and reports to senior team.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and commentary for the senior team.
- Prepare draft year end accounts for audit and coordinate accountancy and audit activities.
- Prepare information for the outsourced payroll function.
- Oversee company pension scheme enrolment and reporting.
- Support funding bids by preparing costings and reviewing financial implications.
Essential Requirements
- Experience of working similar role , ideally within a senior position.
- Strong Excel skills and IT literacy.
- Accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Experience of line managing staff.
- Recognised professional qualification ) ACA,ACCA,CIMA,CIPFA).
- Experience of preparing management accounts including analysis and commentary and year end accounts.
Advantageous But Not Essential Requirements
- Working with Xero / Navigator / Platinum would be desirable ( although not essential ).
Role
- Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm
- Salary is £40,000.00 to £50,000.00
- 20 days hol per year + BH ( Increasing with time served)
