We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and learner-focused Educator Support Assistant to join our growing team. Whether you're an experienced Educator or a graduate with the right qualifications looking to begin a career in teaching, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As an Educator Support Assistant, you'll deliver engaging and inspiring learning to students from a variety of backgrounds, helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further education.
Working alongside our experienced team of educators, you'll assist with the delivery of Essential Skills programmes in English, Mathematics and Digital Skills, adapting your approach to meet individual learner needs while creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
The post is based primarily at our Belfast centre, although occasional travel to other delivery locations across Northern Ireland may be required.
No two days are the same. One day you may be supporting an individual learner to achieve a qualification they never thought possible; the next you'll be delivering an interactive group session that helps students take the next step in their careers.

- Is committed to continuous professional development.
Essential Criteria
- A degree, preferably with Mathematics or English comprising at least 50% of the course content.
- GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade A-C (or equivalent).
- A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve the Certificate in Teaching within one year of appointment.
- Access to a car and a full, valid driving licence (business mileage is reimbursed).
Previous experience delivering Essential Skills programmes would be advantageous but is not essential. If you have the right qualifications, enthusiasm and commitment, we will support you to become an outstanding Educator.
Essential Skills Educators recognised as qualified by the Department for the Economy before 1 August 2012 and currently employed within the sector will retain this recognition.
