Working hours are Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 4.45pm
Responsibilities
· To carry out end of line inspections of finished product
· To inspect on line production activities in all departments
· To ensure inspection processes are accurate and adhered to at all times
· To correctly report any quality issues spotted during checks
· To support Production Operatives to understand quality standards
· To help investigate quality issues and apply corrective actions, if required
· To liaise with departments in terms of repairs and remakes
· To carry out raw material inspections as required in designated area (Production, Storage, Goods In) and to assist dealing with raw material quality issues and quarantine process
· To inspect returns and provide accurate data recording all findings, when required
· To assist with product inspection at customer premises, when required.
· To highlight area for improvement in relation to product quality and to communicate it with Line Manager.
· To assist with quality training for new quality staff
· To liaise with other departments to meet quality standards at all times
· To ensure all audits activities are carried out efficiently and with timely manner to satisfy customer demands
Experience
- Proven experience in quality inspection is preferred but training will be given.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data and identify root causes of issues
- Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance principles and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for clear documentation and teamwork
