We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Regional Transport Manager to lead our transportation operations across multiple locations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the compliance and Health And Saftey in the business

Duties
- Develop and implement regional transportation strategies aligned with overall business goals to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee day-to-day transportation activities, including defects , PMI’s , MOT’s, plus inputting costs into an asset management system
- Manage relationships with third-party carriages and costs ,to ensure service quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Monitor maintenance costs related to Depot manger or director , identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Supervise a team of transportation coordinators and drivers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards while maintaining accurate records.
- Lead initiatives for continuous process improvement by analyzing operational data, implementing best practices.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in transportation or logistics management roles with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong understanding of profit & loss management within logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience with transportation management systems , a good knowledge of trucks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
