Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Professionals to join our team in Huntingdon. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes or care settings. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the wellbeing and independence of those they support, ensuring they receive personalised and respectful care.
Prior experience in care environments is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the health and social care sector.
We are looking for individuals who are available on weekdays, evenings and weekends. WEEKENDS CURRENTLY A PRIORITY
Duties
- Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support clients with medication management and health monitoring as required.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Skills
- Good communication skills in English, with the ability to listen actively and respond empathetically.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Driving licence is desirable to facilitate client visits or errands; however, not essential for all roles.
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating organisation and reliability.

- We have work across Huntingdon, Ely, Sandy and Biggleswade and surrounding areas
- Mileage is paid at 30p per mile.
- Your schedule may include earlies, days, afternoons and evening visits. Flexibility is essential.
- Your schedule will usually include working one weekend in two on-call
- You’ll need a full UK driving licence with use of a car
