We require a reliable, organised, practical and highly motivated person, to carry out general cleaning and caretaking duties for the School. This will include premises management, minor maintenance tasks and repairs, security of building and site, correct storage and use of cleaning materials, setting up and putting away furniture for classes and assemblies, ensuring the whole school environment is cleaned and maintained to a high standard and conforms with Health and Safety requirements. Training will be provided.
Other duties will include: The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder and be first point of call for the intruder alarm, unlocking and locking of the school at the beginning and end of the day, carry out and record statutory checks and help maintain Health and Safety records, some light maintenance of the school building, monitor site stock and order supplies, willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety.

Experience
- Previous experience in a caretaker or similar role is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial cleaning is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents' privacy.
