- Maintain clear and open communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or healthcare providers
- Promote a safe environment by following health and safety protocols diligently
Requirements
- Valid driving license with experience driving in various conditions (nice-to-have)
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the sector
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding of care instructions and documentation
- Basic IT skills for updating electronic care records accurately
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with residents and team members
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
