This full-time (37.5 hours per week, 1:45pm-10:15pm Monday-Thursday & Friday 2:00pm - 8:00pm) permanent role supports production by ensuring demand is met in the various departments across the company. Day-to-day the successful candidate will undertake a laser cutting and processing tasks with a continuous improvement focus.
- Safe operation of laser cutter to manufacture printed and plain number plates.
- Quality control of products prior to leaving area.
- Preventative maintenance of the machinery to maximise efficiency.
- Laminating acrylic using semi automatic machinery.
- Boxing and finishing products
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Operating a cutter to select and nest various acrylic shapes and sizes driven from assembly orders created in Microsoft BC.
- Operating different types of laminating machinery, boxing and labelling products
- General servicing and maintenance of auto laminating machinery

- Technical experience of printing systems
- An understanding of the application of modern manufacturing principles defined by Lean Manufacturing and the concepts of “one-piece flow”.
