Basic Salary : £28,609
Additional payments for Sleep Ins (£60 per sleep) and On Call (£35 per On Call)

Solace for Children have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Residential support worker, to join our fantastic team!
We are looking for individuals who are motivated and passionate to deliver the best care possible for our children.
As a Senior support worker, we would like you to lead and inspire a team of Residential Support workers in the day-day running of the home, working closely with your homes Deputy and Manager.
You will have responsibility to ensure that we continue to provide outstanding care to our Young People.

Essential Job Criteria:
- Most importantly we want fun, energetic, passionate, caring, creative , dynamic and motivated people to want to support children to achieve their best!
- To have a minimum of 1 year’s current experience working within a Children’s Residential Setting
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare- To have completed / or to be currently working towards and will complete the Qualification in line with Regulation 32 (5(a)) of the Children’s Home Regulations. (England)
To be able to undertake this role you will need to be able to:
· Work a shift pattern of 730am-11pm, followed by two days off ,on a three week rolling rota- This will include evening/ weekend work and bank holidays as the home caters for children on a 24/7 basis, 52 weeks of the year.
· Be able to undertake sleep in and on call duties (Paid Additionally)
· You will need to have a full UK driver`s license due to the location and nature of the role and be a minimum of 21 years old due to Insurance purposes
