We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Production Operative to join our growing manufacturing team.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in our day-to-day manufacturing process. You'll be involved in producing luxury candles and home fragrance products while ensuring every item meets our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pouring candles in line with production specifications and quality standards.
- Assembling products and packaging ready for dispatch.
- Labelling and preparing finished goods for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assisting with stock control and replenishing materials when required, including the safe movement of stock using a forklift.
- Operating a forklift safely and responsibly when required, in accordance with company procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Working closely with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Carrying out other production duties as directed by the Factory Supervisor or Manager.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Valid forklift licence – essential
- Previous experience working in a warehouse, factory or manufacturing environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically capable of carrying out the duties required of the role
- Good communication skills
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
