The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Insolvency Practitioner to join our growing Receivership Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded and proactive professional to take on a senior role within a fast-paced and forward-thinking business. The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with significant receivership experience, strong technical knowledge and the drive to develop the department further.
The position will be based at our London office, with flexibility to work from home as part of a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing a varied portfolio of receivership and insolvency appointments.
- Taking responsibility for cases from initial appointment through to conclusion.
- Providing strategic and technical advice to lenders, creditors, directors and other stakeholders.
- Reviewing financial information, property assets and recovery options.
- Developing and implementing appropriate asset recovery and realisation strategies.
- Ensuring all cases are managed in accordance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Preparing statutory reports, case documentation and recommendations.
- Liaising with solicitors, surveyors, lenders, agents and other professional advisers.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Receivership Department.
Essential Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be a qualified Insolvency Practitioner.
- Have substantial previous experience within receivership work.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of insolvency, receivership and asset recovery matters.
- Have experience managing a varied caseload independently.
- Possess excellent commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Be confident communicating with lenders, creditors, directors and professional advisers.
- Have strong written, organisational and negotiation skills.
- Be proactive, ambitious and comfortable working within a dynamic and growing business.
- Be able to work from the London office, with hybrid working available.
