Experienced Delivery Driver – Same Day Delivery
Skylight Transport Ltd is a growing logistics company providing contracted courier and delivery services to national distribution partners.
We are currently recruiting experienced Delivery Drivers to join our Same Day Delivery operation at two London locations.
This is a self-employed position, with weekly payments, flexible scheduling and ongoing support from our experienced operations team.

North London – Bounds GreenUnit F3, Ring Way, Bounds Green Industrial Estate,New Southgate, London, N11 2UL
West London – ActonUnit 25, The Vale, Acton Park,London, W3 7QE
Pay & Working Hours
- £204 per day including VAT
- 8-hour delivery route
- AM Shift: Start time approximately 6:30 AM
- PM Shift: Start time approximately 2:30 PM (14:30)
- Same working hours and daily rate for both shifts
- Weekly payments

Van Owners Welcome
We welcome owner drivers with their own suitable vehicles.
If you don’t have a van, don’t worry — we can help you arrange a van rental through one of our trusted rental partners, making it easy to get started.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for experienced delivery drivers who:
- Have previous courier/delivery driving experience
- Have a professional and reliable approach to work
- Have excellent time management and organisational skills
- Are customer-focused and able to provide excellent service
- Can safely handle and deliver parcels to customers
- Are comfortable working independently
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- Have no more than 6 penalty points
- Must have no IN, DG or DR endorsements
Main Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver goods and parcels to designated locations
- Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely
- Complete deliveries within the required timeframes
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow delivery procedures and company requirements
- Ensure all parcels are handled safely and securely
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues
- Follow all UK road traffic laws and health & safety requirements

Self-Employed Position
This is a self-employed role. If you’re not currently set up as self-employed, we can assist you with the setup process.
Van owners are welcome, but owning a van is not essential.
