About Telios Tutors
Telios Tutors is a growing education provider delivering high-quality online tuition to students across the UK. We support learners from a wide range of educational backgrounds, including mainstream education, Alternative Provision (AP), SEND, EHCP and EOTAS placements.
As we continue to expand our partnerships with schools, local authorities and Alternative Provision providers, we are looking to grow our network of exceptional education professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) and experienced education professionals to deliver engaging 1:1 online tuition to students with a variety of learning needs.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience in:
- Alternative Provision (AP)
- SEND
- SEMH
- EHCPs
- EOTAS
- Trauma-informed practice
- Behaviour support
- Learning mentoring
- Specialist interventions
Whilst experience supporting students with additional needs is highly desirable, we also warmly welcome applications from passionate Qualified Teachers with strong classroom experience who are looking to transition into online tuition.
Students may include those who are:
- Preparing for GCSEs or Functional Skills
- Working below age-related expectations
- Diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia or other additional learning needs
- Experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA) or anxiety
- Receiving Alternative Provision or EOTAS support
- Re-engaging with education following periods of absence
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within UK schools
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Reliable internet connection and suitable online teaching environment
