As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation as needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations
- Process payments accurately using basic math skills
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of serving techniques
- Understanding of food safety practices and culinary experience is advantageous
- Basic math skills for handling transactions efficiently
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables effectively
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
