We are looking for an experienced and talented individual to join our team of Steel Fabricators.
The successful candidate will have forklift experience with large and heavy loads and be able to take the initiative loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and timely manner. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate safe working practices, show initiative, work independently and be responsible for all required yard duties.

Responsibilities:
- Competent in the safe loading and unloading of materials from vehicles
- Competent with checking goods in and out, completing paperwork checking for quantities and damages
- Deliver/ collect material when required using our company vans
- Painting steel beams where required
- Assisting the workshop Fabricators when required
- General labouring duties
- Maintain and manage a clean yard, workshop and canteen
- Maintenance duties as required
- All ad hoc jobs as required
Person Specification
- Must have forklift experience with large, heavy and uneven loads
- Must have a full clean driving licence
- A good communicator that works well in a team
- Reliable and hard working, like working in all weathers
- Able to use own initiative and have good organisation skills
- Courteous and welcoming
- Willing to learn new skills
- Show initiative
- Positive can-do attitude
- Flexible with start/finish times
- Forklift Licence an advantage
Probation - 6 month probationary period.
This position is full time working Monday to Friday.
When required will involve some early/late starts/finishes.
