Role Overview
The Business Support Officer will provide administrative, operational, and customer support to ensure the efficient delivery of our security services. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact between management, clients, security personnel, and external stakeholders, helping to maintain high standards of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to management and operational teams.
- Assist with the scheduling and deployment of security personnel to client sites.
- Maintain accurate employee records, training records, and personnel files.
- Prepare and update staff rotas, timesheets, and attendance records.
- Liaise with clients regarding service requirements, enquiries, and contract matters.
- Support recruitment activities, including arranging interviews, processing applications, and onboarding new staff.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and business documentation as required.
- Maintain databases and ensure accurate record keeping.
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and general office administration.
- Support management with audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries in a professional manner.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative, business support, or office management role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
