The Interim Executive Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant who will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and pastoral needs of our children. The successful candidate will be a compassionate and proactive practitioner, with the ability to build positive relationships, deliver targeted interventions, and support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who can:-
Deliver targeted, high-quality wellbeing interventions to individuals and small groups of learners.- Support the school’s pastoral provision by promoting positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and inclusion for all pupils.
- Work closely with the ALNCo, class teachers and pastoral team to plan, implement, and review intervention programmes.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
- Monitor, record, and evaluate the impact of interventions, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
- Provide in-class support where needed to reinforce learning and ensure continuity between intervention work and classroom practice.
- Contribute to safeguarding and well-being procedures, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
- Liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupils with additional needs.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who strives for excellence and will be able to contribute to the aims of the school. The post is offered on a permanent basis.
The appointment process will involve an interview with the Interim Executive Headteacher and the Senior Leader Team.
