Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an engaging environment within the logistic sector, requiring a friendly demeanour and organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Duties
- Welcome customers and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage customers enquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence using proper phone etiquette.
- Provide information about services, facilities, and local attractions to customers.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean, organised, and welcoming condition.
- Assist with processing of customer orders and schedulling of pick ups.
- Coordinate with other activities to meet customer's needs promptly.
- Keep accurate records of customer information and transactions.
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in reception or front door services is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
- Organised with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance.
- Knowledge of logistic operational standards is advantageous.
Pay: £24,420.00-£25,589.17 per year
